Coffee, Art, and Tradition Experience on the Route of the Flowers

The Route of the Flowers is a fascinating journey through the Sierra de Apaneca. Along this route, we will visit some indigenous towns, where you will enjoy many traditions, delicious food, tours of coffee plantations, murals, a pleasant climate, and much more. The journey begins in Nahuizalco, known for its local market and its people. A few kilometers from the mountains, we stop in Juayúa, where you will visit the main church of El Cristo Negro and the main square (during weekends, you will enjoy the gastronomic festival of Juayúa). Then we continue to Apaneca, where we will make a stop for a tour and coffee tasting at the Entre Nubes plantation. Following the route, we will find Ataco, a colorful town popular for the murals that decorate several of the surrounding houses, as well as for the main street of souvenir shops.
